Ellery Care (“we,” “us”) publishes honest, data-first nursing home ratings and senior-care cost information. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it. The short version: we never sell your information, and we take no money from any care facility.

What we collect

  • Your email address, only when you give it to us, for example to download a free guide, to receive a cost report, or to be notified when we add your state. We do not require an account to use the site.
  • Purchase information, if you buy one of our educational guides. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Basic usage data, such as the pages you view and your general device and browser type, used in aggregate to understand what’s useful and improve the site. We do not build advertising profiles about you.

How we use it

  • To send you the specific thing you asked for (a guide, a report, a notification).
  • To send occasional related updates. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they only handle data as needed to provide their service: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), and our analytics provider. When you click an affiliate link (for example to Amazon), the retailer may set a cookie so it can credit us for a purchase, at no extra cost to you; that activity is governed by the retailer’s own privacy notice. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email at any time, and you can email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
