Nursing home, memory care, and assisted living cost different amounts in different parts of the state. These pages pair an honest cost estimate for each metro with the one thing cost sites never show: whether the homes there are any good, and how families actually pay.

How we estimate these costs

We do not sell care and we do not take listings money, so we have no reason to inflate or lowball a number. We also do not own proprietary metro cost tables. Instead we start from the CareScout 2025 Cost of Care Survey national median for each type of care and adjust it by the local price level from the BEA Regional Price Parities, the federal government's measure of how far a dollar goes in each metro. The result is a transparent estimate to plan around, not a quote from any specific home. For an exact price, call the homes you are considering. Full details on our methodology page.
